My Time At Portia Coming To Mobile

Gah, I love My Time At Portia. So much so that I spent months playing this game until the end of the single player campaign, upgrading my farm and trying to unlock everything that could be crafted until my eyes bled. Seriously, this is a pretty chilled out version of Harvest Moon with some great dungeon exploring.

Developed by Chinese games developer Pathea Games and published by Team17, the story itself isn't anything to write home about, pardon the pun. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, you arrive in Portia where you've inherited your father's workshop and must become the best builder. You discover clues as to what happened as you progress in the game and explore new areas, but the story is fairly predictable.

The main appeal of the game lies in the freedom to create your own farm, upgrade the house and discover new things to craft. You can even get married and form friendships with some of the characters you meet along the way. It's a fun, stress free game.

Soon, hopefully, you'll be able to play it on your smartphone or tablet because the game is coming to iOS and Android in the future. Pocket Gamer is reporting that a mobile port of the game was announced at TapTap's Present 2020 event.

Hopefully, this will make it to the West at some point, rather than being just a China-only game.
